Thank you for visiting The Linden Tree website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern The Linden Tree relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not us our website.
Contract of Sale
All prices are inclusive of current VAT at 20%. Prices shown exclude delivery and are in British Pounds Sterling. The Linden Tree reserves the right to withdraw items from sale at anytime.
We will not be able to meet the obligations set in The Terms of Contract of Sale in the event of the following.
- If there is a pricing or product description error.
- If items are out of stock.
- If we are unable to authorise your payment.
- If delivery cannot be made due to exceptional conditions beyond our control including weather and accidents.
All items displayed for sale are currently in stock. If an item becomes out of stock we will immediately remove that item from sale. If your purchase coincides with that item becoming out of stock the purchase will not be a Contract of Sale with us. We will contact you via e-mail or phone to advise you of this and ask you if you would like to be informed when the stock becomes available or if you would like to cancel that item.
Placing an order
After placing an order online you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and a unique order number, this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the item has been accepted . Our contract of sale with you will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you.
Postage
We charge a standard £3.00 postage cost on all orders.
We will endeavour to dispatch your items within 2 -3 working days of receiving the order. Please allow 7 working days for delivery. Orders will be sent 1st class royal mail and will need to be signed for.
Please make arrangements for delivery to a work address if you unable to be at home. Delivery can be made to another address if you are sending as a gift, please indicate when ordering if this is the case.
Special Delivery postage will be used for Sterling Silver high priced jewellery, this extra cost will be paid for by ourselves and will be fully trackable and insured.
Returns and cancellations
If for any reason you change your mind and wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch please contact The Linden Tree shop on 01900 828 867 or e-mail info@thelindentree@.co.uk
In line with Distance Selling regulations we offer a full refund, exchange or credit note for items purchased from us from our online shop within seven working days after the day you receive them.
For Health and Safety reasons earrings cannot be returned or exchanged. We therefore ask you to choose carefully.
Please ring The Linden Tree shop 01900 828 867 or e-mail info@thelindentree@.co.uk to obtain a Returns Authorisation number from us within the above timescale and follow the instructions on the Returns Slip sent with your order. If items are sent back after the 7 days period it is at our discretion if we will offer an exchange, credit note or return items back to you. All returns must be returned at your own cost unless items are faulty. You are required to retain ‘Proof of Posting’ as we will not accept responsibility for items lost in transit. If an exchange is required then we will refund any difference. Refunds will normally be processed within 3 days of receipt of the returned items. All refunds will be credited to the card used in the original transaction.
Security
The Linden Tree uses a Secure Payment Provider who will process your card details. They are PCI DSS level 1 compliant. . The copying of content, images and photography contained in our website is not permitted for commercial purposes without written permission of The Linden tree. By using this website you agree to use it lawfully and not to compromise it’s security or its credibility in any way .
Data Protection
We will never disclose your details to third parties.
