Ceramic bead necklace from the Candy Collection. Blue Hawaiian, pastel shades of off white, salmon pinks and aqua blues with dots. Always looks fresh, a real eye catcher.
These lovely hand formed beads come from the same workshop founded in 1975 by the late Lade Susan Wood to provide work for struggling single mothers.
Today some 300 local women still create these beautifully made beads from the local clays at the same workshop a few miles outside Nairobi in Kenya.
